Kyoto 7-day itinerary overview
This itinerary is designed as a strong first-time introduction to Kyoto over seven days.
It opens with an easy arrival afternoon in Gion, then gives you full days for northern Kyoto,
Arashiyama, eastern Kyoto, central Kyoto, and southern Kyoto, plus a very manageable day trip to Nara.
The route is efficient, realistic, and easy to follow using local trains, buses, short taxi rides, and walking.
